(TAP) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, received, on Thursday, a phone call from the Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Al Safadi, who invited him to make working visit to Jordan.
Ammar expressed Tunisia’s solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan following the provocative and hostile acts committed by an official of the occupying power, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.
During the call, the two parties also stressed the need to carefully prepare the upcoming bilateral meetings, including the 10th session of the Tunisian-Jordanian Joint High Commission.
They called for intensifying coordination and consultation on current issues and challenges in the common Arab and Mediterranean areas, as well as during regional and international meetings.
