The body of the 31-year-old Hatayspor player, who had also worn the jerseys of Chelsea and Newcastle in his career, was found under the rubble of the building where he resided in Antioch.

“His personal belongings are still being removed. His phone has also been found,” confirmed his agent Murat Uzunmehmet.

In recent days there had been rumors that Atsu had been found alive, but this information has unfortunately turned out to be false.
