Three-Times Increase in the UAE’s Golden Visa Application Fee
The 10-year Golden Visa in the UAE will now cost AED150 instead of AED50, according to a local media reporting the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP).
The new fees include authority fees, electronic service fees, and fees for smart services. ICP is updating the fees it charges for several services. The cost of an Emirates ID, a visit visa, and a residence permit have been recently increased by the authorities.
The cost of an Emirates ID was up from AED 270 to AED 370. In addition, the cost of a visa for a month has gone up from AED 270 to AED 370.
In 2020, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) introduced the highly sought-after Golden Residency Program, which allows citizens to apply for five or 10 years without a sponsor. Those who meet the requirements of the Golden Visa can also apply for Golden Visas for their family members under the program.
